This feature Nike shoe was designed by a patient at the OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital. The patient's name is Grant Olsen who is inspired by the stars, salamanders, and guitar. This shoe features glow in the dark speckled bottom and comes with a really nice pair of galaxy laces. These two features of the shoe are their to represent Grant's love for space. The shoes tongue has an emblem at the top which depicts a guitar and lizard. I felt like it was important to focus a little bit on Grant in this post because the shoe was made to represent him. Grant suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The free runs come with orange laces with glow in the dark speckles and have 3M on the back nike swoosh. This has been one of my favorite pick ups in my sneaker collection so far.
