New Pickup: Nike Air Penny 5 'Invisibility cloak'

These shoes are a Penny Hardaway base with a fresh new color way! As you can see from the picture the midsole changes color when under light. They are very comfortable but run a little tight on foot. These are great for ball and casual wear, and I recommend picking them up.

New Pickup: Air Jordan 11 'Bred'

This is a classic shoes and I feel like it's a must have for crazy collections. Most people were inspired by this shoe to start some legendary collections. They feature carbon fiber mid-sole and a patent leather strip around the shoe. The down side, these seem really low quality in comparison to the 2001 11 releases. The Jordan boxes now a day are trash compared to the retro ones. Only reason I got was for the historical value of the shoe. Even though they are low quality they are a must have shoe and a fun one to rock.

New Pick Up!

These just came in the mail last Thursday. They were definitely a come up for me and probably my favorite Lebron X so far. I ordered them on footaction.com the Saturday they came out. They're a beautiful shoe and I love the Miami Dolphin colorway. They're bright and out there which is very nice. The real name for them is  'Setting' which is shown on the emblem on the back of the shoes. They're a great shoe and I am glad I copped!

Weekly Sneaks (3/17 - 3/23)

Didn't get a chance to cop the Breds back in December? No worries, they restocked in stores and online on Saturday. Retailing at $185 ($5 more than usual but still the same price as in December), they're definitely a nice shoe and worth copping. Did you get a chance to take hold of the restock?

Another colorway of the Air Barkley Posite Max released again on Saturday. These came in an 'Eggplant' colorway and retailed at $235. They are all black with purple and teal accents. These were a limited release. Were you able to cop?

Another colorway of the KD 5 dropped this past Saturday. It was a traditional "Aunt Pearl" KD colorway. They were a premium edition and made to help raise Breast Cancer awareness. They are metallic summer white and pinkfire. A limited release, they retailed at $135. Did you come up on this shoe?

Nike SB Dunk High Premium 'When Pigs Fly'

These shoes are possibly my favorites. These shoes are inspired by the phrase when pigs fly. They came out in 2 releases. One came out in Boston's very own concepts. It featured a clear special box, t-shirt, two laces, and a skateboard  inspired by the phrase. The second release was more broad,  that is the one that I got. I really enjoy these shoes and plan to rock 'em the next sunny day.

Shouts out to laced!

When you're in Boston there are a few sneaker stores you have to check out. For example Bodega, At the Buzzer, and the usual Niketown. Sometimes Laced gets overlooked. Laced is right down the street from me and they have been selling their limited editon 'alumni' hoodie. They also have a really nice consignment shop set up, I am always surprised with the new shoes they get. I recommend you check them out and say Sneaks and Snaps sent you. Second off they will be having a raffle for the Nike Air Yezzy 2's. It's going to be $20 per raffle ticket and you can visit their website for more info. I would also check out the shop.

New Pickup: Nike Free Run + 2 DB

This feature Nike shoe was designed by a patient at the OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital.  The patient's name is Grant Olsen who is inspired by the stars, salamanders, and guitar. This shoe features glow in the dark speckled bottom and comes with a really nice pair of galaxy laces. These two features of the shoe are their to represent Grant's love for space. The shoes tongue has an emblem at the top which depicts a guitar and lizard. I felt like it was important to focus a little bit on Grant in this post because the shoe was made to represent him. Grant suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The free runs come with orange laces with glow in the dark speckles and have 3M on the back nike swoosh. This has been one of my favorite pick ups in my sneaker collection so far.
